HIKING TOURS

The Los Angeles County is home to miles of scenic hiking trails that will take your breathe away. The Tucker Tour staff can escort any group size through the various trails, while pointing out landmarks, and providing short history/stories that make the experience one of a kind. Staff is CPR certified and trail routing can be modified for almost any hiker to provide an inclusive experience.
Solstice Canyon- "The Ruins of the Roberts House"

The beautiful and tranquil solstice Canyon offers an easy hike that is approximately 3 miles from start to finish; you’ll enjoy a stroll alongside a flowing creek, a 30 foot waterfall, ocean views, the ruins of  two historic homes.  

Malibu Creek-"M.A.S.H. Site and Century Lake"

Malibu Creek State Park is over 7,000 acres of beautiful scenery that is truly spectacular.. There are 15 miles of streamside trail through oak and sycamore woodlands and chaparral-covered slopes. After a good rain, namesake Malibu Creek comes to life. There are dramatic, jagged peaks, stunning canyon vistas, oak woodlands, rolling hills of tall grass, a large volcanic swimming hole, world class hiking, biking rock climbing and you are hiking on a historical movie set…  Countless film and television programs were shot here, the most notable are, M*A*S*H between 1972 - 1983 "Dr. Dolittle" (1967) “Planet of the Apes" (1968) "Love Me Tender" (1956) "The Seven Year Itch"  and the classic "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"  Today there are still parts of the mash set that are viewable from the hiking trail.

Griffith Park Night Hikes

Sure, everyone goes to Griffith for the views—but when you go at night that magical feeling of seeing the expanse of Los Angeles from afar is an entirely different ballgame. The Sierra Club leads all levels of hikers through some challenging paths, lit only by the lights of the city. 

Reagan Ranch

 

Once called "Rancho De Ceilo" or "Sky's Ranch", this 688 acre plot of scenic beauty once served as a vacation area for Ronald and Nancy Reagan.
