The Ramona Bowl

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful rolling hills of Hemet, California, embraced by a backdrop of stunning natural beauty, The Ramona Bowl, established in 1923, is a genuine historic landmark and a California treasure. The Ramona Outdoor Play, formerly known as the Ramona Pageant, is a play staged annually in Hemet, California since 1923. The script is adapted from the 1884 novel Ramona by Helen Hunt Jackson. It is held over three consecutive weekends in April and May in the Ramona Bowl, a natural amphitheater in the foothills above Hemet in Riverside County. The production features a cast of more than 300 actors, singers, dancers and horsemen. The Ramona Outdoor Play is much more than good theater. Woven into the romance of Ramona and Alessandro is a glimpse of the tragic history of Southern California’s native people. It is a love story with a moral, a message that is as important today as it was when the story of Ramona was written more than a century ago. Before the show we will enjoy a Ranch Hand bar-b-q lunch including chicken, salad, coleslaw, baked beans, roll, dessert and beverage along with pre-show entertainment.

Colorful Songs of Broadway "Your Hit Parade" at Almansor Court

This wonderful show is a trip down memory lane for some, as the young and energetic cast will reenact the Classic Radio shows from 1935-1959. This includes many favorites of the era including Annie Get Your Gun, Pajama Game, Damn Yankees, Oklahoma, and many more! But before the show, we will dine in the beautiful Lakeview Room of the iconic Almansor Court. Our classy three-course luncheon will consist of salad, entree, and dessert cooked and served by their excellent chefs and wait staff. Wine, coffee, and ice tea are included in your meal as well, leaving you full and ready to enjoy the show!
