Nethercutt Museum and The San Fernando Mission

 

On our guided tour of the Nethercutt Collection we wil see over 250 American and European automobiles that date from 1898 to 1997, a fabulous collection of music boxes and beautiful vintage furniture.

The Mullen Automotive Museum

 

The Mullin Automotive Museum will introduce you to a classic French Collection of automobiles. You will see beautifully styled and engineered Bugatti's, Deluges, Suizas, Delahayes, and Voisins.

Jet Propulsion Laboratory

 

As we make our way to the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, our first stop will be at EL PORTAL Restaurant in Pasadena, specializing in Yucatan/Mexican cuisine. Here, we will enjoy their delicious Fajitas in our own private dining room. After lunch, it’s off to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. There, you’ll get an inside look at our current space exploration activities during your 2.5 hour walking tour of the facility. The tour includes a multimedia presentation entitled “Journey to the Planets and Beyond,” which provides an overview of the Laboratory’s activities and accomplishments. 

JPL requires that all U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, present a government issued photo ID (driver's license or passport) before being allowed entry. Please give your government name when signing up for the tour. You must bring your ID with you on the tour - Please be advised that the tour involves a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing.

 

"Up, Up, and  Away"

 

Today we feature two museums. "The Flight Path Museum" which pays homage to the early days of aviation in Los Angeles and the "Santa Monica Museum of Flying" with its vintage planes and tribute to Douglas Aviation.

"Battleship of  the Presidents"

This wonderful trip will take you to the home of the woodworking legend  Sam Maloof.

Legacy of a Princess

 

 The special exhibit currently on display is a tribute to the late Princess Diana entitled “Diana: Legacy of a Princess”. This collection showcases priceless evening gowns, personal accessories, photographs, heirlooms, and memorabilia. The multi-million dollar collection has over 2,000 items has taken over 30 years to assemble.

"The Space  Shuttle Endeavor"

 

The fifth and final space-worthy shuttle built by NASA is on display here in Los Angeles! Join us at the California Science Center, where they have dedicated a portion of their museum to house this marvel.

Come join us as we visit the fabulous Getty Center, the $733 million dollar marvel that sits high up in the Santa Monica Mountains.
